Tour Description :
We drive to the Simatai Great Wall which is located in Miyun country of Beijing and about 120 kilometers far from Beijing city. As the steepest section of the whole Great Wall, it offers an alternative and unique Great Wall experience compared to the popular Badaling section. It is the only part of ancient Great Wall with the original features of Ming Dynasty well reserved and was listed by UNESCO into the World Cultural Heritages. This section is older than Badaling and is separated into eastern and western parts by a valley, with a rainbow-like chain bridge over the valley.
