Chengde is located 250 kilometers north-east to Beijing. It is a famous cultural city with about 300 years history, used to be the second political center in the Qing Dynasty with the largest extant royal garden in China.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 01 Beijing-Jinshanling-Chengde (L)
We will pick you up from the hotel in Beijing and send you off to Great Wall Jinshanling by bus (about 2 hours). You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Great Wall Jinshanling. Then, you will be sent off to Chengde by bus (about 1 hour) and transferred to the hotel there.
Day 02 Chengde-Beijing (B, L)
Today, we firstly go to visit the Summer Resort which has been built for 89 years from 1703 and is the largest imperial garden. Here you can enjoy the sightseeing freely. After that, we go to the Little Potala Palace which was built in 1767. Since it is a copy of the Potala Palace in Tibet, the buildings here are a blend of Han and Tibetan styles. Then you move on to the Puning Temple, first built in 1775. It can be seen as a great treasure house of ancient arts of architecture and sculpture. Afterwards, we will return to Beijing by bus and send you off to the hotel.
