Tour Itinerary:
Day01 Beijing-Datong (L)
We will pick you up from the hotel in Beijing and send you off to the railway station where we head for Datong by train K613(10:14-16:28). Our tour guide will assist in completing the whole procedure and escort you to the train carriage. Upon arrival in Datong, we start the tour of Datong Nine Dragon Wall, Jiuhua Temple and city sightseeing. Afterwards, you are transferred back to your hotel in Datong.
Day02 Datong-Beijng (B, L)
In the first place, the emphasis of the journey is to visit the Yungang Grotto, one of China's biggest grottoes with world-famous treasure collection of art. Then, we drive to Hanging Temple at the foot of Mt.Hengshan, 80 KM away from Datong. The temple hangs on the west cliff of a hill with over 50 meters above the ground, hence it is also called Hanging Monastery. Whereafter, we move to the Wooden Pagoda in Yingxian County, 50 KM away from Hanging Temple. It is the oldest wooden Buddhist pagoda in existence in China. Finally, we return to Datong from Yingxian County, 60 KM away from Datong. In the evening, you will be sent off in the railway station and return to Beijng by train K606(22:59-05:10).
Day 03 Beijing
In the morning, you will arrive at the west station of Beijing. Then, you can do the arrangement on your own.
