Tour Itinerary:
Day01 Beijing-Qufu by overnight train
We will pick you up from the hotel, and then transfer to the railway station in Beijing where we head for Qufu by train K51(23:31-08:19). You will stay overnight on train and 4 people sharing one compartment with soft sleeper.
Day02 Qufu-Taian (B, L)
Today, we will start the tour in Qufu which is a famous historical and cultural city and best known as the hometown of Confucius (551-479BC). Confucius was born in 551 B.C and was a great philosopher in the Chinese history and the founder of the Chinese Confucian school. He has had a decisive influence on the moral character and the cultural formation of the Chinese nation for more than 2000 years. Therefore, we firstly visit Confucius Temple which was built in 478 B.C, a place for offering sacrifices to Confucius in various dynasties. Then, next destination is the Confucius Woods and Confucius" family mansion, the government office and private mansion of Confucius descendants. Whereafter, we move to Confucius Family Graveyard, the largest and the oldest as well as the best preserved religious tombs and gardens. Afterwards, we drive to Taian where we stay overnight.
Day03 Taian-Beijing (B, L)
Today, the highlight is to visit Mount Taishan which is located in central-western part of Shandong Province. Rising 1545 meters above sea level, it is the most significant among the sacred peaks in China. In history, 72 Chinese emperors have come here for worshiping or holding ceremonies of handing on crowns. In the morning, we climb up the Mt.Tai by cable car and enjoy the wonderful sightseeing. Then, we visit the Dai Temple at the foot of Mt.Tai. Afterwards, you will be sent off to the railway station and return to Beijing by train K52(22:43-05:13). Also,you will stay overnight on train and 4 people sharing one compartment with soft sleeper.
Day04 Beijing
Upon arrival at the railway station, you can do the arrangement on your own.
