Day 01 USA-Hong Kong
You board your jetliner for your transpacific flight. (cross the International Date Line)
Day 02 Hong Kong (L)
Upon arrival in Hong Kong, you are met and escorted to the hotel to check in. Hong Kong dazzles with a dynamism and a go-getting spirit that pleasingly sets it apart from the rest of exotic Asia. Our Hong Kong Circle Island tour shows Stanley Market's bargain-filled stalls, the beaches of fashionable Repulse Bay, and Aberdeen's sampan colony. You end with a coach ride up to Victoria Peak for a panoramic view of the city.
Day 03 Hong Kong (B, L)
You are at leisure to explore Hong Kong's many delights on your own for the full day.
Day 04 Hong Kong (B, L)
You are at leisure today. Perhaps you visit fishing villages and Po Lin Monastery on nearby Lantau Island, or enjoy a sunset dinner cruise.
Day 05 Hong Kong-Beijing (B, L)
You are at leisure until your afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight to Beijing. Upon arrival, you are escorted to the hotel to check in.
Day 06 Beijing (B, L)
Your full-day sightseeing begins with vast Tiananmen Square and the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City, including admission to living quarters, museum and jewelry sections. Then you go to the extraordinary Summer Palace with a boat ride on Lake Kunming (weather permitting).
Day 07 Beijing (B, L)
You walk along the Great Wall today, then stroll the Sacred Way to the Ming Tombs and Chang Ling Exhi-bition Hall.
Day 08 Beijing (B, L)
You are at leisure today. Perhaps you take an optional Hutong tour with a pedicab ride through the narrow lanes of the ancient Hutong district.
Day 09 Beijing-Hong Kong-USA (B)
You will be transferred to the airport and fly homeward today, traveling via Hong Kong, where you board your flight.
