DAY 01 USA-Beijing, China
You will board your transpacific flight to Beijing via Hong Kong. (cross the International Date Line)
DAY 02 Beijing (L)
Upon arrival in Beijing, you are met and escorted to the hotel to check in.
DAY 03 Beijing (B, L)
Unforgettable sightseeing today takes you to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City's Imperial Palace, with admission to the living quarters, museum and jewelry sections. After lunch, you tour the Summer Palace with a cruise on Lake Kunming (weather permitting).
DAY 04 Beijing (B, L)
A highlight of your visit to China today is the awesome Great Wall. After lunch, you see skilled artisans at work at a cloisonné factory. Then you walk along the Sacred Way to the Ming Tombs and Chang Ling Exhibition Hall.
DAY 05 Beijing-Xi'an (B, L)
This morning you are at leisure in Beijing for optional tours or shopping. Then you fly to historic Xi'an, an ancient capital of China.
DAY 06 Xi'an (B, L)
You view the extraordinary life-sized terra-cotta army, no two alike, buried for over 2200 years. Then you visit the Circle Vision Movie, Bronze Chariot, the collections at the Shaanxi Provincial Historical Museum and a jade carving factory.
DAY 07 Xi'an-Hong Kong (B, L)
This morning, you have a change of pace as you fly to exciting Hong Kong, where you will be transferred to your hotel and check in.
DAY 08 Hong Kong (B, L)
Today we show off this dynamic city. First you visit the Stanley Market, then go to fashionable Repulse Bay, followed by a stop to see the floating community at Aberdeen. After that, you ride to the summit of Victoria Peak which affords unsurpassed panoramic vistas of the city.
DAY 09 Hong Kong (B, L)
The day is free to follow your own pursuits – perhaps indulge in some last-minute bargain hunting, cruise on the harbor or explore the dramatic Cultural Center.
DAY 10 Hong Kong-USA (B)
You will be transferred to the airport and fly homeward.
