Tour Itinerary:
Day 01 USA-Beijing
Depart the USA for Beijing.
Day 02 Beijing (L)
On arrival, our will hold a welcome sign to meet you. You will be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax.
Day 03 Beijing (B, L)
In the morning, you will take a half-day excursion to explore the incredible Forbidden City with its grand palaces and courtyards. Built in 1420, it was here that 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years. The South Gate leads you to Tian'anmen Square - the biggest of its kind in the world. In the afternoon, you will go to the beautiful Summer Palace where you can discover gardens, palaces and pavilions with temples and halls in a tranquil, landscaped lakeside setting. Then, in the evening, a fascinating Peking Opera Show will be presented to you at the Liyuan Theatre.
Day 04 Beijing (B, L)
In the morning, you will take a half-day guided visit to the awesome Great Wall of China. Here you can enjoy the stunning views as you stroll along this seemingly endless piece of history, which winds its way into the far distance. In the afternoon, you will go to the Ming Tomb, which took over 200 years to complete.
Day 05 Beijing-Luoyang (B, L)
Today, you will explore the Temple of Heaven which itself has become a symbol of the city. Here ancient emperor worshipped God and prayed for harvest.
In the evening, you will be transferred to the rail station for your train to Luoyang, which is the start point of Silk Road.
Day 06 Luoyang (B, L)
In the morning, you will have a half-day tour to the Longmen Grottoes, which is regarded as one of the most famous treasure houses of stone inscriptions in China. In the afternoon, you will visit the Guanlin Temple, which is called General Guan's Tomb as well.
Day 07 Luoyang-Dengfeng-Luoyang (B, L)
Today you will have a full-day visit to Shaolin Temple. It will take you about 3 hours to the Shaolin Temple by private car, which is the cradle of the Shaolin Martial Arts. After that you will be back to Luoyang in the afternoon.
Day 08 Luoyang-Xi'an (B, L)
In the morning, you will visit the White Horse Temple that is believed to be the first Buddhist temple built by the government in China. In the evening, you will be transferred to the railway station for your train to Luoyang, which is one of China's ancient capitals.
Day 09 Xi'an (B, L)
In the morning, you will have a full day visit to the world-famous Terracotta Warriors where life-sized infantrymen, archer, officers and their horses symbolically guard the tomb of the first Qin emperor. In the afternoon, you will continue to your tour to appreciate the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, which is an important cultural relic and one of the remaining symbols of Xi'an.
Day 10 Xi'an (B, L)
In the morning, you will have a city tour including the Shanxi History Museum where you will discover how Xi'an became the cradle of Chinese culture. In the afternoon, you will visit the city Wall that still compasses the center of Xi'an. And in the evening, you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Show.
Day 11 Xi'an-Beijing-USA (B)
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Beijing. You can continue the flight to your homeland.
