Tour Itinerary:
Day 01 USA-Beijing
You will board your transpacific flight to Beijing. (cross the International Date Line)
Day 02 Beijing (L)
Upon arrival, you are met and escorted to the hotel.
Day 03 Beijing (B, L)
Today's tour introduces Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City's Imperial Palace, with admission to the living quarters, museum and jewelry sections. After lunch, sightseeing at the Summer Palace with a cruise on Lake Kunming (weather permitting).
Day 04 Beijing (B, L)
A highlight of your visit to China today is the awesome Great Wall. After lunch, you watch skilled artisans at work at a cloisonné factory. Then you walk along the Sacred Way to the Ming Tombs and Chang Ling Exhibition Hall.
Day 05 Beijing-Xi'an (B, L)
In the morning you are at leisure in Beijing. Then you fly to historic Xi'an, an ancient capital of China.
Day 06 Xi'an (B, L)
You firstly View the extraordinary life-sized terra-cotta army, no two alike, buried for over 2200 years. Then you visit Circle Vision Movie, Bronze Chariot and the collections at Shaanxi Provincial Historical Museum.
Day 07 Xi'an/Nanjing (B, L)
This morning, you fly to Nanjing. Then a sightseeing tour shows you Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, the F Yun Jin Museum and Yue Jiang Lou Tower.
Day 08 Nanjing-Yangzhou-Nanjing (B, L)
A scenic drive takes you to lovely Yangzhou. You will tour beautiful Slender West Lake, Ge Garden and the Marco Polo Museum. Finally, you return to Nanjing.
Day 09 Nanjing-Suzhou (B, L)
Today you head for Suzhou by bus/train, a charming city noted for its ancient gardens. You enjoy a boat ride on the Grand Canal and tour Pan Men City Gate. After lunch, you visit the new Suzhou Museum designed by I.M. Pei and the Embroidery Research Institute.
Day 10 Suzhou-Hangzhou (B, L)
This morning, you visit Suzhou's most famous garden, The Master of Fishing Nets Garden, 5400 square meters of beauty. Later you head for Hangzhou by bus/train.
Day 11 Hangzhou (B, L)
Sightseeing in scenic Hangzhou will start with a boat ride on lovely West Lake and Inner West Lake. Then you view Hua Gang Park and Huqingyu Pharmacy which dates back to the Qing Dynasty and was founded by the Hu Family. The visit to Ling Yin Monastery and the Tea Production Brigade follows.
Day 12 Hangzhou-Shanghai (B, L)
Today you travel from Hangzhou to Shanghai by bus/train, one of China's centers of commerce. Then you visit Huai Hai or Nanjing Road's emporiums and the European-style Bund.
Day 13 Shanghai (B, L)
Today's sightseeing tour shows you the glories of ancient China at the Shanghai Museum. Later, you see a carpet factory and the Children's Palace.
Day 14 Shanghai-USA (B)
You will be transferred to the airport and fly homeward.
